hace más de 2000 años...more than 2000 years ago...

Un palo plantado en el suelo fue el primer reloj del ser humano. Hace más de 2000 años, Nemrod, nieto de Moisés, fue el primero en dividir el día y la noche en doce horas, respectivamente.
En la antigua Grecia el tiempo solía calcularse por la longitud de la sombra producida por una columna que se medía por pasos. Así, un personaje de Aristófanes dice: “Cuando la sombra tenga diez pasos de longitud, ven a cenar”.
